The words are from a favorite author of mine, Maggie Stiefvater, and they are the words I most need to hear when it comes to dealing with chronic pain and illness. I didn’t need this the first time I saw it, six years ago. I need it now. Maybe you do, too.

The bird flew away yesterday, opening its own cage, super long day yesterday and cried. Set alarms for 4:30-5 am today to google when the sunrise is, at 6:27. So we went out and the heat was so horrible even in the early morning. My sister stayed the course until 11 something AM and came back with bird in hand. Must buy sushi for her.
